Gameplay: Maneuver your triangle shaped spaceship away from asteroids and flying saucers while blasting them anytime you get the chance. If you get in trouble use the hyperspace button and randomly warp your vessel to a new location on the screen. Beware though, that new location could mean on top of or directly in the line of danger.
Fact: In 1982 15 year old Scott Safran of New Jersey set a world record of 41,336,440 points on the arcade version of Asteroids. He passed away in 1989, but in 2002 Twin Galaxies awarded his family members in honor of his Asteroids achievement. His amazing record stood for 27 years, finally broken in 2010.
