This RUN DMC MY ADIDAS collaboration tee has fascinated the internet for more than 15 years.

The partnership between RUN DMC and Adidas in the 1980s had an undeniable impact on setting the bar for future footwear and apparel collections.

This particular item has consistently made headlines as one of the world’s most expensive t-shirts.[1] [2] [3] When it was first released in the mid-2000s, it had a notable influence on the rapidly growing vintage t-shirt market and helped propel hip hop tees to become sought-after and premium collectibles.

In 2005, this t-shirt was offered for sale by Vintage Vantage for $13,000 USD.[4] We acquired it privately in 2011 and continued this pricing tradition. On October 11, 2015, it became the first item listed on the Defunkd Vintage T-Shirt Collective – the world’s first multi-vendor platform specifically for vintage t-shirts.[5]

It is in fair vintage used condition with wear, some pilling, a 1/4″ hole on the front, several dark stains, some faint stains, wear on the back graphic, and several white and off-white paint marks. For sale here is a vintage 80s Darlington Raceway t-shirt with super retro graphics; made in USA. It doesn’t seem to be officially licensed merchandise, but is still super-cool! It is in very good vintage used condition with some wear, minor pilling, and a pinhole near the collar and two more pinholes near the bottom front. For sale here is a vintage 90s Adidas Panamericanos Olympics Mar del Plata ’95 t-shirt. It’s in good, vintage condition with no holes, tears or stains. The graphics have some fading in a few areas and there are two areas where some of the seam has some unsown (on the bottom seam and on one sleeve). What a great, vintage find for the Adidas collector!
