By the late 1970s, Fruit of the Loom pivoted to supply blank t-shirts to the booming screen printing industry. They decided to create branded blank tees marketed directly at screen printers. Previously their standard blanks just had generic tags with RN #13765 printed on them, but in 1980 the first branded Screen Stars tag was born.

Great condition! The emblem is an iron-on transfer and shows some wear. The transfer is also a little rough at the edges. Other than that it’s great- no holes, stains, or tears, or anything!

Vintage 80s 90s Hang Loose Hawaii Screen Stars T-Shirt XL
Excellent vintage t-shirt displaying the Shaka hand symbol flashed commonly in Hawaii. This tee is super soft and comfortable due to its 50/50 cotton/poly nature and the fact that it is so paper-thin (see 4th photo). There are a few very slight and small issues as shown by Barb in the final two photos but outside of that this t-shirt is in excellent vintage condition.
