Screen Stars
By the late 1970s, Fruit of the Loom pivoted to supply blank t-shirts to the booming screen printing industry. They decided to create branded blank tees marketed directly at screen printers. Previously their standard blanks just had generic tags with RN #13765 printed on them, but in 1980 the first branded Screen Stars tag was born.

Vintage 1980’s satanic skulls badass t-shirt
50/50 cotton/polyester blend- soft and thin. The tag is marked XL but vintage tees often have a different size than today’s standards so please check the measurements to ensure a proper fit. The actual measurements when laid flat are:

Top of collar to bottom hem in back: 29.25 inches
Deadstock- this shirt has never been washed or worn. This was leftover inventory from a headshop in Minneapolis that closed in the 90’s.
This one did pick up a small hole on the back up by the tag somewhere along the way. You can see it in the close-up picture of the tag. Other than that it’s perfect!
Vintage 1990’s Muzzle alt rock band t-shirt, alternative
100% cotton. The tag is marked XL. The Actual measurements when laid flat are:

Top of collar to bottom hem in back: 29 inches
Good condition. It does have some flaws: there is a spot on the front (4th picture), some staining on the back of one of the sleeves (5th picture- I think it might bleach out), and there are some openings at the collar seam (3rd picture).

This was bought deadstock condition- never washed or worn. This was left over inventory from a head shop in Minneapolis that closed in the 90’s. There was, however, a bit of dinge on it from sitting in a warehouse for years, so I laundered the shirt. It looks perfect now, but it has been washed- never worn.

So righteous! It’s on a Screen Stars white tag and the art is dated 1990. It’s original airbrushing!
