Screen Stars
By the late 1970s, Fruit of the Loom pivoted to supply blank t-shirts to the booming screen printing industry. They decided to create branded blank tees marketed directly at screen printers. Previously their standard blanks just had generic tags with RN #13765 printed on them, but in 1980 the first branded Screen Stars tag was born.

Vintage 1981 Akron Ohio “Y” Bridge Souvenir T-Shirt M/L
Here’s something dark for you to digest: From 1997 until December 3, 2009, 29 people committed suicide by jumping from this bridge. Why would anybody from Akron, home of some of the greatest rock bands (The Black Keys, Chrissie Hynde, DEVO) want to jump off this bridge is beyond me.
Beautiful, very soft and no major stains or tears.
