Screen Stars
By the late 1970s, Fruit of the Loom pivoted to supply blank t-shirts to the booming screen printing industry. They decided to create branded blank tees marketed directly at screen printers. Previously their standard blanks just had generic tags with RN #13765 printed on them, but in 1980 the first branded Screen Stars tag was born.

Vintage 1980’s bowling sparkly iron-on t-shirt
50/50 cotton/polyester- nice and soft! The tag is marked large, but I would say it fits more like a medium. The actual measurements when laid flat are:

Excellent condition- there is some pilling to the material and a small seam opening on the sleeve. Other than that it’s great! The pictures may look like the shirt is black, but it’s a dark navy blue.

Vintage 1980’s Prairie Home Companion Lake Wobegon t-shirt
The tag is almost completely washed out on this one- I can tell it’s a Screen Stars tag, but that’s it. I would say it fits most like a medium, but please be sure to double check the measurements to ensure a proper fit. The actual measurements when laid flat are:

Top of collar to bottom hem in back: 25.25 inches
Well worn, but it still has a lot of life left in it. Aside from the heavy wear to the screen print the only flaw is a small black spot on the bottom front.
