A rare Morpar engine Ed Roth design airbrush hot rod racing t-shirt. This shirt came from an estate of a gentleman that owned the San Valley Raceway back in the late 50’s to early 60’s. This shirt was with others in a box and forgotten about in his attic for over 50 years. This shirt is deadstock, but obviously has stains from being left in an attic for so long. The print is slightly thick to the touch.

This is an awesome piece. It’s a v-neck sweatshirt t-shirt. Nicely detailed with blue/green arms, cuffs. Sadly, the legendary Speedway is now defunct.

Amazing. Detailed with airbrush by hand by BDR – as well as hand signed. Signature is very crisp.

It’s quite stained because it hasn’t been washed in order to preserve the signature. Don’t wear this – frame it.

Worn in to perfection, beautiful wear on the design!From my personal stash!

Condition: B+ – Very small, light stain on the front near the bottom, fleabite on back near collar.

I’m not versed in NHRA history and I CAN NOT find any information online to help me backtrack the date on this tee. Was told it was the 10th Anniversary of the Turkey Trots was 1978 but I cannot verify that with certainty. The t-shirt matches the time period as the tag is unbranded and the t-shirts age lends it to be that old. If anyone can tell me otherwise it would be appreciated. Regardless, this is an AWESOME tee with minimal pill ball build-up due to washing. Lots of life left in this tee:)
