Buyers beware! As vintage Harley t-shirt value continues to rise like the price of gold, they’re increasingly being targeted by counterfeiters. The knock-offs are mostly originating from vendors in southern California and are making successful rounds on eBay. Once their welcome has been overstayed they’re circulated around local flea markets where unsuspecting amateur eBay sellers purchase them with the intention of listing them for a quick buck. Extra, Extra – B-Sharps sing on rooftop! Just a quick note that Wyco released 36 gems to auction, well worth checking out. A handful of them are from the 70s and there’s everything from disco to metal, unfortunately Wyco continues lack in the Country genre. And a note to other sellers, we know you’re out there! Teecycle is a wonderful internet based used t-shirt vendor that donates a portion of every sale to help restore rivers and trails. In a completely unfair twist-of-fate the home of Tim & Jess Cigelske, their 12-week old baby Clara and Bella the beagle was hit with a flood. Their dwelling and Teecycle headquarters is now unlivable and to make matters worse their insurance company doesn’t feel obligated to help. You can read about the whole sad situation here. Sadly, one of the godfathers of vintage t-shirts on eBay has just announced they’re shutting down. Somebody please hold me.
