Air Mariah: Original versus ‘Retro’
This year Nike released the Air Mariah in an upgraded design. Using all the latest Nike running technologies, and using the classic, vintage 80s vintage Air Mariah look and colorway. Opinions differ greatly on these. Some see it as a horrible shoe, and there was no need to butcher this classic shoe with the new technologies, and nike should have done a quality retro, identical to the original release from the late eighties. others; like me, kinda like this look on these “air mariah’s” vintage nike collector and avid runner Bryan, aka ogshoehead made these comparison pictures:
