A few weeks ago, some pictures of a pair of vintage Nike Jordan VII samples popped up on Niketalk. A NT member bought them from ebay for 500 USD…. NT went crazy over them, saying they were fake, but i always thought these were real… tag is a sample tag from back then, the tongue is plain white (released 7’s got a multi color tongue) and these are in a condition a 17 year old shoe should be….. I don’t think these are pretty, but it is always good to see some vintage samples….

Somebody on Niketalk launched the rumour that Nike was going to retro the vintage Nike Air Flight. Not a bad idea… Nike already retro’ed the revolutions, the air assaults, the flights 89, … not all with the same success, but especially the 89’s and a little bit less the air revs did well. I keep thinking that all these three shoes look poorly fabricated as a retro (quality-wise), with little appeal, and especially this; butchered in a zillion different colorways…. Like promised, every now and then I will upload some pages of the book Irreverence Justified (check that link – every so often one appears on eBay)…I know that a lot of people are just curious to see what’s in the book… I could go on for years, since the book has brought together more then 500 different nikemodels….here comes the second batch of pictures. OK. Michael Jordan was a great basketball player. No doubt. But i am more impressed by the shoes in this picture, then with the actual players. Blue Air Revolutions and blue Alpha Forces!!!
