Here comes the final part on the Air Max ST and then we close this chapter. Nike Air Tech Challenge (1990-91)
As a kid I always admired Agassi.. well, to be honest, I more admired his outfits and his shoes then the game he was playing. Although, the Air Tech Challenge I and II are my favorites, I am always fascinated by the ATC III. I had to wait 20 years before i could finally have the complete set of his “neon” time, although I am still missing the bandana and the spandex innershorts which apparently somebody cut out these new shorts…. Yes I am a fanatic!

Let’s stay with the Air max STs and see this hilarious advertisement from Nike…. A running shoe with maximum cushioning AND maximum stability and the lead news is something about some hole in the ozone layer? Hilarious! Nike Air Max ST Retro
For once a non-vintage or original post… and this because the first pictures are coming in of the air max ST retro. First impression isn’t bad, but then you begin to see the painted midsoles, the woven mesh that isn’t accurate, the different tone in colors…. Well, I have to see them in person.
Nike MAG (1989)
You can’t have a vintage Nike Blog without including the Nike Air MAG! Nike “Mag” because of their magnetic properties and that’s what it says on the back of the heel. Legendary shoe for the older sneaker fanatics… I remember going to the movies with my new pair of Air Trainer SC II.
