This Vintage Atari T-Shirt Collector Has Game
Steve and I go way back. We first connected over 5 years ago when he started turning heads by uploading an insane vintage Star Wars t-shirt collection to the show section of the now-defunct, Defunkd Collective. Ever since he’s been my go-to vintage Star Wars t-shirt expert. He also assisted me while I was working on (and continually updating) The Holy Grail of Vintage Star Wars tees article. Then, recently, he revealed that he’s been slowly collecting Atari tees too. So I asked him if he would share it and answer some questions about his collections. Where in the world ... Read more
This Vintage Search Engine App Is a Gem
Early in 2022, we hosted a survey for vintage t-shirt heads, and over 500 of them participated. One of the questions asked was which apps they used in their day-to-day vintage lives. Aside from the obvious social ones like Instagram, and apps for marketplace platforms like eBay – the most commonly cited app was Gem. It’s super handy if you’re looking for a specific shirt, you punch in the name of the shirt and it brings back all of the t-shirts available ... Read more

I’m totally psyched for Ozzy’s new album. I have already pre-ordered a signed copy of it. And I’m definitely looking forward to his NFL halftime kick-off. My go-to shirt is my Tribute shirt! ... What’s the Deal With Vintage T-Shirt Raffles?
Similar to live tee auctions, raffles have become a mainstay in the Instagram-based vintage t-shirt universe. I’ve never participated in one, but I’ve been tempted. An established seller presents a handful of “grails” as prizes. Then they sell X amount of spots for X amount of dollars, (with X amount of maximum spots a single person can purchase.) Once the deadline for entry has been reached, or the designated spots are sold out, the host has a draw to select the winner. The winner usually picks a single t-shirt from the available prize offering, most of which are beyond mid-value. ... Read more
