1980s

I received this shirt when I joined the Rocky Horror Picture Show Fan Club in 1983. The printed ink has the typical cracks but the colors are bright. The fabric of the shirt is comfortably worn but has no holes or stains.

The Firm were a British rock supergroup comprising former Free and Bad Company singer Paul Rodgers, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, and Manfred Mann’s Earth Band and Uriah Heep drummer Chris Slade and bass player Tony Franklin. Page and Rodgers originally wanted former Yes drummer Bill Bruford and fretless bassist Pino Palladino in the group; however, Bruford was contracted to another label and Palladino had tour commitments with singer Paul Young.

This shirt was produced only for the Canadian leg of their tour. This is actually from the wife’s side of the closet) Mine’s a lot more common, this one has a tag I’ve never seen before.

One of several t’s we’ve bought off Ebay to replace damaged or missing items from our younger years!

Here’s another classic, that rumour had it actually got BANNED at a few dragstrips.

Jim was a career firefighter (if memory serves) & his hobby was running a real competitive AA/FC. One of the first race car shirts I saw that had great artwork, layout & slogan. Cool colour, too.

Picked this up at Pomona in October 1985, back when you could buy ’em directly from the racer! Don’t remember the cost.

Excellent, vintage, pre-owned condition.No holes, tears or rips.

Tag is missing but based on measurements it’s a Small, which today would be considered a modern Extra Small.

3/4 sleeve jersey, thin and buttery soft.

There are a couple of small, faint marks close to the bottom hem.

A rare 80’s Septic Death all over print shirt

Anti-drug shirt.I assume 1980s?

This shirt was made in order to show what the final product would look like.As most people know, “Revenge” was changed to “Return” because it synced better with the Jedi way so very few of the shirts exist.I know of this example and three other “Jabba” versions that also bear the Revenge text.I compared this shirt with the released version that has the Return text and I see slight color differences, but other than that the unproduced and the released versions are pretty much identical
