Kaz of California

Post by fancypants »

Has anyone heard of 'Kaz of California' before? I came across this item here in Australia but haven't seen the label before. I can't find much on the Summer Pro League either but I'm guessing this is 1980's. There's a second tag under the 'Kaz' label listing the fabric content - 80% poly and 20% cotton. Cheers

It rings a bell.

League was created in 1969 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summer_Pro_League

Could very well be 70s too. Tag seems more 70s to me.

Sounds like the league has some history too.

I was trying to figure out if the number was relevant - but 25 is not Kobe or Johnson. Could have been someone famous, would make it a real find:

(Please note: Legit checks I do in this forum should not be considered 100% conclusive; I'm simply giving a gut reaction based on the limited information provided.)

Thanks JimmyJ, I appreciate the reply and the insight - I'll check out that link too. It's interesting that it made it all the way down here. Cheers!
