Newbie needs help

Post by eatstarchmom »

Hello! I have been collecting tees for some time now without rhyme or reason. Recently I have been very interested in brands, era, value etc. Here are a few tags from shirts I own - any help dating them would be appreciated!

Try this blog post out. It will help identify and date most common labels.

Here's another that is Japanese but is pretty accurate with later dated labels. I also use this site for dating denim and the like.

These approximations refer only to the variations of the tags you have posted and are not meant to encompass all tags of the brand. This isn't 100% accurate, as sometimes you will find a modern shirt printed on an old screen stars blank, but this should help.

Black Jerzees tag - 80s
blue screen stars tag - 80s
screen stars best - late 80s/early 90s
textile prints - late 70s/80s
M&O - modern
Harvey - want to say 80s, not 100% sure
soffe - late 80s/90s
trench - 80s
collegiate pacific - late 70s, 80s
garan - 90s
