Towncraft dating?

I know Towncraft was JC Penny's line and they aren't super rare, but is safe to say this is from the 70s?

It's just a ringer, but it's really nice and pretty much in dead stock shape.

Ringers were definitely more popular in the 70s - but I believe Towncraft used the same tag in to the 80s so hard to date just on the tag.
