Best places to sell online

Post by MissLizzNL »

Where is the best place to sell vintage threads? I’m considering eBay, Grailed, Gem, Bidstitch, Etsy - where do you sell?

Gem I believe is a specialized search engine that only showcases vintage clothes from the other marketplaces.

Can't go wrong with Bidstitch at the moment...it's free - and you can use your IG to promote your listings. But given it's relatively new they don't have the same built-in traffic that eBay and Etsy have.

Also heard quite a few people on Poshmark and depop, but everyone complains about the $ they all charge. Grailed seems like more high end items....so depends on what you've got.

Thanks, this is good to know.
Just signed up for Bidstitch but it seems to have a membership fee - has their policy changed?
I don’t think my collection is very high end, but I do want to reach a wide/international audience.
Thanks again!

Ebay and Grailed it’s best marketplaces to reach international audience. But it will take time to do first sales and reviews
