Hello everyone!
I've been taking photos of clothing for a little over a year now and I'm still constantly changing settings on my Nikon Coolpix520 to try and get the best picture possible. I use Auctiva for listing, and for storage's sake I use Windows Resizer to ease up on my uploading cap. I know this takes away a little from the quality but barely and my pics don't seem to be as clear as most. Any info on camera settings/lighting/easy tips & tricks would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Re: Photographing Clothing
Sometimes just using the macro setting all the time works - did for my last camera. But from time to time I pull photos in to photoshop and use the sharpen feature.

Re: Photographing Clothing
Honestly, if I'm looking to buy a t-shirt, I just want to see 1) the print, 2) overall body shape 3) measurements 4) pics of flaws if any. The consistency of picture taking and descriptions on defunkd is alot more reliable than ebay, so as long as you're doing the same as the guys here, I think you'll be okay. I doubt buyers need the best-possible-pics-on-earth.
Have vintage Elvis tees? Let me know!
Re: Photographing Clothing
I see. I've yet to use the Macro setting. I'll try it out. I've yet to use photoshop too. As for selling on defunkd, I haven't really considered it yet. I might throw a few Ts on here and see what happens. Thanks for the replies fellas!
