Hey, I've been picking up some vintage 80s sweatshirts/sweaters/crewneck type things to sell. But I'm wondering if anyone could offer some advice about sizing of these things. Whenever I list t-shirts I always list the original tag, measurements and the approximation of what the fit is in modern terms. But I'm trying to figure out what the move would be for vintage sweatshirts and the like since they're kind of oversized but also have shrunk and are usually fairly short. So while the pit-to-pit is 23, they're only like 25 from top to bottom.
I tried looking at some other sellers listings for these but I couldn't find anyone that really does the approximate size for them, they just list the original tag size and measurements which scares me a bit given that lots of people don't understand the whole vintage sizing deal no matter how well we try to explain it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks guys
