Legit check 1972 Bowie tour

Post by Meisadam2114 »

Hello I am trying to see if this Bowie tour tee is legit…thinking it’s not. I’ve seen a lot of them online but they all have the Bowie screen print on the back. This has a faded tag that I can’t make out the company. It is double stitched. I think it’s a reprint but just wanna make sure I didn’t find a keeper. Thanks!

The measurements will help, as something from 72 will be very small. Though as you mentioned it seems like a modern creation, but I see lots with printed tags, unlike yours that has a worn tag. The double-stitching, yes modern, although euro tees often had DS.

Anywho, we can hold out hope that maybe yours is the original version of the print all the others copied, but I haven't dug very much.

The width is 18.5 inches. Length from collar is about 22 inches.
