Hi Everyone,
I recently purchased The Mask T-Shirt with a Tultex tag.
The one I purchased has a Tultex tag with "Cotton" written in red.
However, I’ve noticed that there are many similar shirts with the same design and Tultex tag, but without the red "Cotton" label.
(seems these are sold for MUCH cheaper price than the "red cotton" tag as well)
I have 2 questions:
1. Is the shirt I purchased (with the red "Cotton" on the Tultex tag) a genuine vintage shirt from the 90s?
2. Is the Tultex tag without the red "Cotton" label a fake or copy (For same type of Tag) ?
Thanks for your support!!

Re: Question regarding Tultex tag for THE MASK (Movie shirt)
The one you've shown without the red is a counterfeit tag, made most obvious by the spacing between TULTEX.
The other red tag looks okay at first glance, but not a great shot of the print, can you do a shot of just the print?
And include the measurements?

Thanks so much for your reply!!
The size is 75cm x 57cm.
I've attached the print along with another reference photo of the tag.

Re: Question regarding Tultex tag for THE MASK (Movie shirt)
Unfortunately it looks like you have the common fake, with a different tultex tag sewn in. Either that or there's a new Tultex fake variant.
So in inches the pit to pit is: 22.5? That's quite large for a Tultex Large, which should be 21"-ish.
The definition on his face isn't great when I compared it to others that appear to be legit.
I did notice the FROM - focus on the space between the O and M - and it's too close when you compare to others floating around but it perfectly matches this, which is currently for sale on a site with counterfeits.
The other thing - not even sure legit ones have a back print.
Scout around for yourself and let me know what you think.

Re: Question regarding Tultex tag for THE MASK (Movie shirt)
Thanks for sharing your detailed opinion on this.
The reason I asked for your input is that, honestly, I wasn't confident about its authenticity.
The Hanes-tagged version I'm familiar with, which is known to be legit, has the back print at the bottom, not on the shoulder, which made me doubt if this one is genuine.
I bought this shirt from a vintage shop rather than online, so I guess I’ll need to have a chat with them about it
Thanks again for your support and help!
