Probably been suspended by ebay... I'm sure he/she will be back up and running soon.

I noticed that too. Was looking for them the other day.

I'm not sure what would have caused a suspension though.

usually if you're suspended it says, "no longer a registered user" at least that's the way it used to be.

He's back and looks as though he has used his absence to spend time stocking up on blank nos screen stars shirts. Yay.

One real one on a hanes tag and then one of each size on a mint unused screen stars. Awesome.

What a douche. Seeing a picture of this guy makes me hate him even more. A hammock, really?

Yeah i just happen to have 8 of the same vintage shirts in perfect condition in all different sizes for your convenience. I called him out on it and he replied.

"No-wrong."

I had no choice but to believe him.

Wait!

Is that a small home-based screen printing setup I see behind him in that pic?

Me thinks so.

One word: LAME!

At least one of his buyers is savvy:
FAKE! FAKE! FAKE! FAKE! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DUDE, NO RETURN POLICY, NO REFUND

it's a sad day in vintage t-shirt land if that's a repro. Joe was probably shaking his head thinking, "with all the fakes i sell, i get called out on a christopher cross??"

His backup site in case one gets suspended. He doesn't want to lose all the income he's generating out of his home-based screen printing shop.

Bootlegging all of those shirts seems like more trouble than it's worth- he can only sell a few at a time and the set up costs seem prohibitive. What am I missing? It seems like a lot of work for not much payoff?

He sells them in "buy it now" listings with prices and "vintage" offerings that rival mr taters and milk's offerings. If even half his buyers file chargebacks he's still doing well.. I mean the guy just has to print another one right? Add his flea market sales to the mix and it's def worthwhile. He's in a class of his own, Tinalove and TP don't hold a candle to him.
Have vintage Elvis tees? Let me know!

I don't understand the logic behind this at all. Unless he's wracked up a certain amount of warnings from eBay and is nearing a suspension - but then why would he keep the same name?

There's a lot of goodness attached to an account with 5k transactions, the favorite seller feature is a huge boost for getting his items built in traffic - but with a new account, that vanishes.

My view on him - the majority of his stuff is real. We all know this because we competed against him for years in buying legit tees listed on eBay. He sprinkles bogus stuff throughout - he actually admitted this to me years ago (pre-defunkd blog, email still saved) when I tried rallying sellers to join an legit tee alliance because of Tiny Pony and offered he be a part of it, he declined.

Why don't we ask the man himself?

Joe, I know you're reading this, please explain.

Ahhh the benefits of our newsletter email link click tracking.

what the -

both accounts are no longer registered and all of the items in his feedback have been removed:

This listing (330472759190) has been removed, or this item is not available.
o Please check that you've entered the correct item number
o Listings that have ended 90 or more days ago will not be available for viewing.

looks to me like action was taken against him by eBay - when items are removed like that it usually means some sort of paypal/ebay intervention.

Would could have caused this? I think it's something more than selling bogus vintage tees.
