iron maiden monsters of rock 1988 Misprint

hi jimmy,

found this shirt in thrift shop but IM was printed on other print,
do you think this printed in 1988?

thats the craziest misprint ive ever seen! with that tag no doubt the tee is from the 80s. stumped at an explanation though. Screen printers sometimes use a scrap shirt to test on but usually would opt for a cleaner printing area so they are printing on fabric...not another print. But it looks as though Jesus was printed after the fact.

Also hilarious that the two opposing themes are together so makes me think done tongue and cheek behind the scenes at a shop. Or maybe by someone religious at odds with 80s metal.

I've heard of jesus appearing in potato chips....cheese...dirt....never in a vintage tee though.

sadly it kills the value i would think.

Being an ironic rarity may put it on a few want lists, but I agree the original without the duplicate would be worth much more. Modern day Jesus shirts aren't in much demand. Most anything after the Middle Ages is overproduced. 8-)
