Re: Can anyone tell me where this is from??
I mean, it's for an old concert venue called Cool Springs Landing in Fredericksburg, VA. Not much else to know, and probably not a ton of value outside of people who used to go to shows there. Maybe could get $30 out of it depending on condition.

Re: Showco Zeppelin?
Yeah I think the pre-NAFTA stuff is a bit of a mixed bag. While 99% of what I find are US made, there doesn't seem to be a hard and fast rule for anything I don't think, but there was probably some kind of incentive for them to assemble there. It could have been slightly cheaper than doing it in the ...

Re: When Did Hanes Double Tags Emerge?
Thanks for the response. This stuff is genuinely fascinating and I learn a little more every day so I'm happy to discuss further. And I hope you don't take offense to my questioning you on this stuff. Obviously I wouldn't think you're trying to pull a fast one or pass something off as something that ...

Re: When Did Hanes Double Tags Emerge?
I have no horse in this race obviously and not trying to stir the pot, and apologies if I'm speaking out of turn, but as a collector and seller myself, I'm a bit of a tag junkie and I do honestly believe the Nirvana shirt to be a later modern-ish reprint. The examples you had of double-tag Hanes ...

Re: 3D t shirts...scarce tag!
Their print procedures aren't a mystery. They did better quality work than a lot of the screen printers out there at the time but it's not like they unlocked some secret than nobody else was privy to. It's basically just using halftones in conjunction with high mesh count and process/simulated ...

Re: Bay Island T-shirts
Bay Island is a newer company, they make mainly concert shirt reproductions and pop culture related stuff. Not true vintage at all.

Re: Ensuring Buyers Review Item Description Issues
Nope. I don't think much really changes for us, I'll have to look at the statement at the end of the month or next month to see if there's a notable difference between what we pay versus now with the new changes. But I don't think it'll be significantly different for us. We use all of our free ...

Re: Harley Davidson speed limit 70 brand
Speed Limit 70 is an okay brand but not really in demand, they made some decent prints, but there's nothing out of this world in that listing that I can see. But they're fine, you'll probably do okay at maybe $25-30 each reselling them on eBay. Maybe one or two a little bit more but nothing that ...

Re: Advice!
Good advice! Applied some of it to my listings a while back. I try to be vague about the size - like in your example - mostly will list two potential modern day sizes M/S - think being vague makes people pay more attention to the measurements. Few questions for you - since we're in the process of ...

Re: Ensuring Buyers Review Item Description Issues
The mobile browsing experience is a nightmare so I always feel like we have to dummy-proof everything to avoid these kinds of problems. We used to put a text box on the photo of the tag warning that the original size is incorrect, but eBay claimed they would take down listings with added text on ...

This shirt is not vintage, guaranteed. They didn't come out with this shoe until 2002. Probably worth something to someone, but it's not old.

Re: Bootleg?
I think this shirt is actually as close to brand spanking new as you can get. Hanes is using that vintage inspired tag right now on some of their more form fitting tees. I got a Toad the Wet Sprocket shirt from their Kickstarter campaign last year and it was printed on that same tag. I got a 3X and ...

Re: Can Anyone Help Identify This T-Shirt?
Nope, just a general video game related iron on design by Roach. Nothing special really, and they made their own line of blank tees for a while as well so that explains the tag. But yeah, Commander Video doesn't have any significance to any game or business at all. It's one of my favorite iron ons ...

Re: Plymouth Tag New York
Late 70s/early 80s. We see these all the time, I feel like a lot of times on baseball jersey uniform type shirts but not always. We have one listed right now that's from an obscure early 80s movie so the timeframe is around there even though the tag being embroidered/less plain is uncommon for the ...

Re: Elvis Commemorative Concert Tee
Definitely real, definitely an iron on. You should be able to tell those immediately by the texture. They made a million of these things and everyone had them, they're not rare or sought after, we probably come across 10-20 per year. But you should be able to get maybe $20 for it

Re: eBay`s Items Specifics
If you have a Mac, just use GarageSale, we just create templates for the listings based on what they are. I think it's like 40 bucks to or something to buy the program, but it's a way better deal than any web-based solution. It's drag and drop, and there's no reason to use anybody's web space for ...

Re: Batman 1966 Tshirt
Definitely real, but I don't think the copyright date is a correct indicator of its actual age. That tag is more likely early 80s, late 70s at the earliest I'd think. But it's common for these kinds of properties to have their original copyright dates on the actual artwork itself rather than ...

Re: Deep Purple #37
Probably just a sports team, a community softball team from work or something like that. The number on the back gives it away, so does being printed on a Dodger sportswear blank, those were almost always for amateur/little league sports teams. Definitely has nothing to do with the band, probably ...

Re: The Rolling Stones 1981 Tour Shirt
100% a modern reproduction, I see this tag all the time. The collar of the shirt is all wrong for true vintage. Plus the tag is way too elaborate for 1981, it's embroidered and has a new style design on it with a cutesy name. And it's made in El Salvador to boot, which would have been basically ...

Re: Screen Stars/Jerzees Halloween Prints
I only do 10-20 auctions a week, only on Sundays and only for things that I'm fairly certain will incur a bidding war. I'm not always right, but for the most part everything else goes up as buy it now. We've always got about 2,000 shirts for sale at any given time and post 100+ new ones every week ...

Re: Screen Stars/Jerzees Halloween Prints
The art print one isn't worth much I wouldn't think, it looks like it's an iron on so that's a strike against it, so unless there's a huge market for that particular artist I wouldn't say it'd be that valuable. It's also the later Jerzees tag and heavyweight is always less desirable than the regular ...

Re: Sturgis SD Black Hills Rally 1994 3d Emblem
$30, maybe $40 if you sit on it for a while. 3D Emblem tag alone generally doesn't help much unless it's Harley or a great unique print, this one is okay and should be easy to sell but I don't think it's high dollar or would incur a bidding war. I'd say you're best off doing buy it now at $40 or go ...
Re: Dry Rot
Actually you know what, I misspoke, I meant that it was the Hanes red white and blue tag, but it was actually a 100% cotton version. Do we have anyone that has had it happen to a 50/50 shirt? Could be close to nailing down this sucker once and for all if it's just happening to nothing but black and ...
