The main thing that stands out is a 23" chest for an L. Maybe they stretched it a bit to make it bigger. I have found several on that tag, and there's no known fake of that tag at the moment. But the biggest L I could find was 22.5.

I don't think it's fake. It's just a bizarre Giant tag, and from the 2000s+ era. (they always keep that 1994 copyright, on new tees)
