Re: What's w/ all the vintage Americana in Malaysia/Phillipines?
Hmmm. I guess that's the most obvious answer. I was wondering if it had to do w/ a large expat community back in the day or maybe clothing drives. I grew up in South America where poverty is basically everywhere - so for like 30 years there have been mass clothing drives from the US, and to this day ...

What's w/ all the vintage Americana in Malaysia/Phillipines?
Serious question - I am looking for some kind of legitimate explanation for why there is so much vintage Americana coming out of Malaysia. I know they've been bitten by the vintage bug, but you'd think if it was all destined to satisfy for their national demand, we wouldn't see such pristine ...

Re: Breaking a NOS heat transfer t?
Who am I kidding - its never going to have the nice feel of a screen print, etc  I guess I'll just have to just pass it along. Thanks for the advice anyhow. I realized there is no way of breaking in the feel of the print without going out of my way to artificially age it, and that flies in the ...

Breaking a NOS heat transfer t?
I picked up a 70s IronKlad t of an old racing club I am part of. Bought it for myself, and once I got it I was kinda let down once I found out it wasn't screen printed - rather, it was a heat transfer... Bummer. Anyone have any suggestions on how I might be able to subdue that syntheticy/rubbery ...

Re: Champion Running Man fit
I'll take a few pictures of it later and post to the thread. Always nice to have more hi-res shots of tags, amirite! Tag has some light fraying Doesn't seem to be altered - still tube body of course. Seams at the bottom have the right period stitching (slight dimpling, if anyone knows what I mean ...

Re: Champion Running Man fit
Thanks for the welcoming! It's a heather grey blank - tagged 48, but with a 21 pit to pit. Length is crazy - clocks in at 32 inches. Bottom hem stitching looks right for that period of Champion, but the length is nuts. At first I thought it might be a reproduction because of its amazing condition ...

Champion Running Man fit
Hi All - new to the forum, but a long time lurker here. Been using you guys as a long time resource but never contributed. Know I should've introduced myself in the introductions section, but either way. I have my hands on a great condition Running Man Champion t, 100% cotton. My question is, how ...
