Re: Any Star Wars Experts Out There?
Well, I've never seen this particular design but I'm 99.9% sure this is a contemporary shirt and most likely sold recently through either a Target/Walmart type store or a t-shirt website like redbubble.com or the ilk. *Just to clarify, I meant recently as in the last 10-15 years so it could be ...

Southern (High Grade Athletic Wear) label
I was hoping someone could help me figure out the date of this shirt. It has a "Southern" label (see pic) and I feel this dates from the early/mid 1960s but that solely my guess.
Is anyone familiar with this brand?
Thanks!
~Steve

Re: Led Zeppelin shirt
Maybe that's why it says "canceled" on it? Pretty weird! I wonder if they had the tees made, ended up canceling the tour as FiftyFiftyMan said, and then added "Canceled" on them to try to still sell some off? Again, weird! The back has an elaborate scene with Bonham's headstone/grave so I assume ...

Re: Record set for most expensive Star Wars t-shirt
Yeah, the "Dog Fight" example is hard to find but by no means as rare as the top three I listed. One can be bought for around $250 when they come up for sale. Here is a link to the Night Crew shirt: http://propstoreauction.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/48/lot/12143/?url=%2Fview-auctions%2Fcatalog ...

Re: Record set for most expensive Star Wars t-shirt
Woa thanks for the update - will have to add it in the blog post. I think your recent addition may be second? As to rarity, I feel these are the top three in order, so far: 1) The Tauntaun from Empire Strikes Back (needed for my collection) 2) The X-Wing from Star Wars A New Hope (I have this ...

http://propstoreauction.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/48/lot/12159/?url=%2Fview-auctions%2Fcatalog%2Fid%2F48%2F%3Fpage%3D12 This auction held by the Prop Store ended recently and as far as I know this is the most a single Star Wars t-shirt has fetched on the open market to date. It was Phil Tippett's ...

Cool, I appreciate it. Yeah, if the band members want them, I'd donate both back to them.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Turmoil shirt(s)
Hello,
I found two Turmoil band shirts. I looked them up and found they were a metal band here in the Bay Area during 1988-1991.
Anyone ever see these before? The folded example shows the back artwork.
Thanks.
~Steve

Re: 70s-80s NOS Lucasfilm 3/4 Sleeve Tee
Great! Thanks for the additional info, Steve! I think I will auction it on eBay (probably later this week) since it's a more rare logo version, and see what happens. Do you want me to just post a link to it in here or send you an email or something? I can just keep an eye out for it. Thanks for the ...

Re: 70s-80s NOS Lucasfilm 3/4 Sleeve Tee
Great find. I don't remember ever seeing this (logo) variation, I believe it is one of the earlier examples. Definitely early 1980s. I'd say it'll fetch between $45-$65 in my opinion though I have never see this particular one on the open market. Like Jimmy stated, it is but isn't Star Wars ...

Re: Vintage Star Wars unique T-shirts SEALED mint
Pajama top? Cool, the mystery is getting solved....
Thanks for the update, please let me know what he says about the Yoda.
So, are the other two examples I found (Vader and Yoda close-ups) also pajama tops?
Are there other examples (different designs) Bill found?
Thanks,
~Steve

Re: Vintage Star Wars unique T-shirts SEALED mint
You are absolutely right, it is only worth what someone will pay for it. I figure if you want to maximize the exposure and get as much as you can monitarily, either eBay or certain Facebook groups (specializing in Star Wars shirts) are the way to go; test the waters please and if you do not get what ...

Re: Vintage Star Wars unique T-shirts SEALED mint
Well, aside from the Yoda/Taun-Taun I have, these are the only other two that have surfaced (that I know of.) This is the first time I have seen the labels so let me do some investigative work and email a few fellow collectors (Star Wars) and see what I can turn up. I am very interested in ...

Re: Wanted: Star Wars shirts
Hey Steve - will keep an eye out. Did you see our recent blog post? Yes I did, Jimmy, and thank you; I'm quite flattered to be hailed as a "t-shirt Jedi." It was a great article. I read some debates over the years about the authenticity of the Transceletians (is that how you spell it?) shirt; most ...

Wanted: Star Wars shirts
Hello, I'm looking for Star Wars cast and crew clothing from Industrial Light and Magic or Lucasfilm between the years of 1976-1986. I am also seeking any vintage foreign (bootleg) or really bizarre Star Wars shirts too. I am a collector, not a reseller, so I will pay the going rate (subjective, I ...
