Picked this up around 25 years ago with around 15-20 deadstock early 1980 shirts.
This one celebrates the Marquee club in Wardour street, London and depicts many of the bands that played there.
The last band is , I think, Duran Duran 1982 , which I think is the year of the shirt as most of the others had ‘81~’82 dates on them.

…ok , so there are a couple of ‘82 dated bands and, as it is a 25 year aniversary shirt, it must be 1983

Whoa, another relic. I didn't know that place was open in the late 50s. Also, I didn't know it lasted until 2008 (at various locations.)

Saw a few bands there in the 1980s. It was a tiny club and used to drip with sweat but, in its own way, was still perfect.
