Handpainted WWII Deck Coat

More show and tell!
This is a WWII USN jacket owned by someone who later served in the Airforce (one it was formed) and continued to use his old jacket, or so I think. It's got a painted back, the name of the owner on the sleeve and his group squad's insignia. Check it out:

This one I found at work so it'll be shipping in a bale this month and up for sale in Manhattan circa late February.
I listed the other jacket with a first bid at $750. I was looking at good glass display cases but I think I may be better off donating it to my Alma Mater or an aviation museum than selling it for a bargain.

Pretty similar. I'd guess yours would do better since its in better condition, and its got that sweet custom paintjob on the back.
