I've haven't seen it before I don't think - and I'm out of the loop with post 2000 stuff. What's the pit to pit measurement?

Chest measures to 23" flat so 46"
I have been looking for any 2000 repros. My mother seems to think it is. The construction is great. Here is a complete pic of it. its pretty epic when it comes to tie dye tees

I've never come across that tag before. With a chest measurement of 23", I'd almost venture to say it's a more recent label, but on the other hand, it looks like a lot of single-stitch hems/seams, which is indicative of an older t-shirt (maybe why it's Hanes "Classics"?). @jimmyj -- thoughts?

@Mrs_stout Thanks for your input! I was hoping this forum wouldn't leave me hanging! I'm still stumped as no one has seen this tag before. I hate listing items without knowing the true history of the piece. I'm not a tag cutter like some who try to profit off of "New" vintage-esq styles.

So for now this guy sits in my storage waiting for its fate.. Etsy or Ebay... The reason why I snagged it is because of the stitching. The label had me feeling like I shouldn't as anything with a "classic" tends to be a repro. These are the times I wish Hanes had a historian.

id say recent for sure...early 00s at best. even the use of classics on the tag...still some value but not vintage if u go by the 15 year rule. I dont think its a repro though...could be a stand alone design...have you seen this exact design elsewhere? could be a bootleg..there's a lot of dead-esque designs out there. anywho...wouldnt stress it too much...not huge value there.

The Classics & the 100% algodon text on the tag makes it, as Jimmy said, a likely post 2000 shirt, or at least a post '94 NAFTA item. I assume it's not made in the USA...which is a huge issue with many t-shirt purists. Production location aside, if it was a band t-shirt, it might have some value. Given it's a generic tie-dye, your best bet is to list it on Etsy or eCrater, put Grateful Dead, Deadhead or Phish in the description, then cross your fingers and be patient. I'd start it at $20, then hope someone will wander onto your listing and realize they can't do without it. The potential buyer being on a couch trip might help
