Nirvana Nevermind Shirt Brands
I was wondering about this shirt I recently acquired. I see many of the Nirvana Nevermind shirts for sale with a Giant brand tag on this particular shirt, however the shirt that I have has a Brockum tag and the bottom of the shirt with showing a copyright under Brockum. Those 2 companies were obviously big in the 90's. The reason I am confused is, for example, I might see a shirt that is licensed to Giant but might have a fruit of the loom tag, but I have never seen a licensed to Brockum shirt with a Giant tag because they were both big in the music licensing in the 90's. Is it possible that Brockum got the initial licensing and then then they licensed it out to Giant? Here are my pics of the shirt.
Re: Nirvana Nevermind Shirt Brands
To clear up my post because it is a bit confusing, the Nirvana Nevermind shirts that have a Giant tag does not say on the bottom, under licensed to Brockum. I just have never seen a certain shirt that either had a Giant or a Brockum tag.
Re: Nirvana Nevermind Shirt Brands
If you see a Giant licensed print with an FOTL tag that's because, neither Giant or Brockum made tees. They were the licensee of the print and distributors - they didn't manufacture the tees. I was told by a forum merchandise manager that Brockum used FOTL tees and their tags were sewn in.
More than one company can be licensed to print a bands tees.
