Help with comfort colors

Any info on comfort colors tags been researching for a while cant differentiate vintage tags or new tags of it. Cant even find some comparison of older tags or newer one.
According to trademark information: 2005, owned by Gildan.
But it did exist previously in the 1980s under another company, which is weird, because I've never seen one from that era, and we have no record of it in our archive. Was registered under men's t-shirts and underwear.
But the version we know today is basically 2000k+. I'm surprised, I didn't know it was that old. We do have one record from 2002, which I double checked was from that year:

I haven't dug into the tags yet tho because it's just barely in the vintage realm.
