black friday cyber monday?

Post by jimmyj »

I've never really paid attention to it, do you guys do anything special? increased auctions? sales? or is it just a hyped up day that doesn't effect us?

I'm definitely "ramping up" (to use eBay speak). This will be my first holiday season as a full time online seller, so it will be interesting to see the effects. So far I have seen a slight increase in my "buy it now" sales volume these past two weeks. Those had been real sluggish since the start of fall.

Yeah my BINs have increased slightly too. The holiday sales used to be nuts, but in the last few years haven't been that impressed with what auctions have fetched.

I listed a fairly common style of vintage blanket this week on ebay and it got 14 watchers and 4 bids within 1.5 days. Because of this, I've headed to my local TS 3 times this week to find more inventory.

This week is definitely different.
