Led Zeppelin 1984 Winterland -

I recently purchased what was advertised as an original vintage Winterland 1984 Led Zeppelin tee. When the shirt arrived I noticed the stitching on the back collar was removed and re-stitched, only where the tag resides. Is this something which was done, is this a genuine shirt, or do I need to return my purchase?

Winterland like many others, ie Brockum, used other blanks like FOTL and put their tags in. But 1984 - gut tells me Winterland didn't have these tags and it would have been odd to be 100% cotton at that point. What is thw pit to pit measurement?

Thank you for your reply. The pit to pit measures 20.5 inches.

Hmmmm I'll post the tag on our Instagram account and see what the community says about the era of the tag.

Gut was right - thats a 90s tag. One of our shops Vtgdallas provided this Winterland tag from 1984.

Looks like lots of Zeppelin stuff has 1984 copyrights.
I recently bought 2 Zeppelin t-shirts. One from the late 80's and the other from the early 90's. Both have 1984 Myth Gem copyright.
Guess they weren't producing new images so kept using the old copyright date.
