Mystery tees - Chic Le Francais & Campbell's Soup

Post by bodhi »

Hey guys, I found a couple of tees today that I can't readily I.D., any help, as always, is greatly appreciated.

First is a minty fresh, deadstock long sleeve tee with "Chic" printed across the front and "Le Francais" down one sleeve. Both look like product logos of some sort, but I've had no luck sorting out what they are. 50/50, probably 80's era, Tee Jays tag on this one:

Next is this Campbell's Soup tee. 90's era, Jerzees tag. Not a Warhol thing, but maybe Campbell's taking a stab at "arty" looking prints? No idea, just wanted to check on the off-chance it's something more than a simple promo tee. No (c) info, names, dates etc to help with this one.

Le Francais was a fancy ass restaurant in Chicago.

Thanks for the reply! I guess it just means "the French"? or "French style", something along those lines.

Any other thoughts?
