Kansas Leftovertour Winter '77
Another recent find! Posting for a little show and tell as well as some info on value. I've looked around and the 40th anniversary for this tour is coming up soon so lots of info on that, but not the original. Any idea on value? All info is always appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Kansas Leftovertour Winter '77
Just found a recent listing for it on ebay. My search criteria must have been a little off when I originally looked (mobile), but this one is coming out of the Netherlands.

I am a concert tape-trader (Darkstar is reference to the Dead song; yes I'm a Deadhead) and there are a ton of sites where generally Jamband, but also other bands concerts are documented and often traded.
I looked through a couple of the sites I use and I can give specific dates and locations if you have interest outside just the value and instead on the tour itself (can even link to a few downloadable concert recordings from that 1977 tour, but they are behind a paywall)
http://www.setlist.fm/search?query=kansas+1977
That site lists the known dates, locations and setlists for possibly the whole tour (search Kansas 1977 if it doesn't come up automatically with my link. Sadly, Kansas being a location, its full of non-helpful stuff mixed in too. Its possible if you view each date there could be people who have comments from being there and linked to photos and such, but Kansas isnt a band I would automatically expect it on)
http://www.concertvault.com/search.html ... &sort=date
That site lists and has recordings for 4 concerts:
March 16, 1977 - Waterbury Palace Theater, Waterbury, CT
March 17, 1977 - Rochester Masonic Temple, Rochester, NY
December 18, 1977 - Palladium, NY, NY
December 19, 1977 - Palladium, NY, NY
And just for the fun of it, here is video of Wayward Son from 8-6-77 at the Allentown Fairgrounds

Also found two documented copies of the 1977/1978 Tour Book (with Cameron Crow writing, which is cool) promoting the followup album, Point Of Know Return , that does talk about Leftoverture. Sadly the 1976/1977 one is nowhere to be found though.

Wow! Very cool stuff! Thank you for the time you took to post this!
Re: Kansas Leftovertour Winter '77
Man, that video was badass! I grew up listening to Kansas with my parents on long road trip and vacation, so other than their songs, that's all I really knew about them. Some very nice perspective!
