Maze Frankie Beverly Silky Soul T-shirt

This shirt is a mystery to me. The Silky Soul record was released in 1989. Now this shirt could certainly pass for 1989, except for the tag. I know Gildan has been around a while but this does not look like their tag from 1989.
Could it be from a later tour from the last 10 years or so and they had these tees made for it? Or maybe it's just a fake. Can you guys take a look at the pics and tell me what you think? Thanks

Guildan was founded in 84 surprisingly...but I have never seen anything pre2000 from them. Its a brand most of us detest because its so abundant at picking spots.

Double tags are mostly a new millennium practice. Don't think there's anyway that's from before 2k.
