On the plus side: 50/50 genuine 80's vintage, marred only by one small hole near the front hem. On the minus side: super-basic shirt advertising a Toronto production sort of past the cult's heyday. Riches beyond my wildest dreams, or a $15 opening bid, or somewhere in between? 20.5 inches pit-to-pit.

Seems reasonable! I'll probably bid on it. But Definitely has more value to us Toronto peeps. I never went during that era but supposedly those Toronto viewings were nuts, everyone got wasted, threw stuff, dressed up. Punks, mods, skins and every other freak you could imagine.

Thing is, it's the play and not the movie- though that might bring the value up. Or down. Did win a Dora award for acting (no mean feat in the year Phantom opened), but outside of TO theatre circles, who cares? Bit of a wild card in many senses, but still, I somehow think I will do at least $30-40 on this. It's going in the big movie sale- now playing at the end of May- and I will be notifying the Defunkd citizenry as soon as that happens.
