Recording studio T-shirts

Post by Airmon »

Hi everyone
Newish to defunkd, fantastic site, learnt from here all about the various labels and putting some kind of date on them.
I specialise in recording studio t-shirts and similar that was only issued to the staff or artist so I avoid all the Abbey Rd and Sun Studios tourist stuff that is readily available.
I've made a video that shows most of my collection, a few recent ones in there but mostly vintage dating back to 80s/70s/60s.

Amazing. Thanks for sharing. Love how diverse tee collecting has become. I think think of a few members of our forum whose eyes will bug out on a few of those.

Couple more additions one from The Automatt, San Francisco and one from Bayshore Studio which was owned by Bill Szymczyk.

Hi Mark!
Cool collection.
I recently acquired this Sun Studio T-shirt but I’m not skilled enough (yet) to tell how old it is. Any ideas?
All the best
