Is there a ubiquitous hashtag across social media for authentic vintage t-shirts? #vintagetshirt doesn't really roll off the keyboard and is polluted in most cases. #vtgtee #oldcotton #grandpawenttoshows #defunkd #somethinglikethat?

Just looking for a more efficient way to get my cotton-poly porn fix. Call me weird, but I really don't like girls that wear Abercrombie & Fitch and while Britney Spears and her Huck Finn pants are getting closer and closer to vintage, I die a little bit inside when I see a shirt from her comeback tour labeled as "vintage."

We feel your pain! Marketers have hijacked the term vintage. Search Google for "vintage t-shirts" and none of the first pages of results actually feature vintage t-shirts.

I haven't found any reliable hashtag on twitter, tumblr or pinterest. To instagram's credit - it's bang-on with #vintagetshirt - because it's the most popular destination for vintage dealers.

That's a beautiful wall of shirts! I've had the same troubles with t, t, & p, but it's good to see a unified front on instagram. Not on there, but probably will be soon. Cheers.
