Secondhand Shops and Haphazard Stapling/Barbing of Clothing
This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. It's frustrating to see TSs butcher vintage clothing which has survived 20+ years in excellent condition. I find that salvation army (AKA staples R us) are the absolute worst in this regard. Well, them and my local Honduran resale shops, (they insist on attaching collosal security tags to paper-thin 70s/80s tees
Have vintage Elvis tees? Let me know!

Re: Secondhand Shops and Haphazard Stapling/Barbing of Clothing
Big problem here too. Mostly the SA and the plastic tags they barb to the shoulders. Making two nice pinholes. Especially bad and noticeable on brand new designer tees. I'm always complaining to them but, most of the folks they employ to tag the stuff are just getting off the streets and off some fairly hard drugs/livin. It's good to keep the big picture in mind!
