Just wondering if this one is an L. Seems too big for a medium especially being an early 80's shirt

That is bizarre....for that tag, in M to be 21" - do you have the shirt? Sometimes sellers listing goof up and put the wrong pit to pit.

Actually I was planning to buy it, but having second thought because the dimensions seems odd. By the way, the seller told me that the measurement is real and that he measured it on flat

I have seen the occasional tag size anomaly, it could have been mis-tagged I guess. I can't find anything wrong with the print - at first it seemed like the colors were off but I was able to find a few others that are in line with yours. Plus, that tag is synonymous with this print.

Is that a good size for you 21"?

not really. my comfy size is 22x28. 21 is good but a little bit tight to me and i prefer a bit of looseness
