Adidas trefoil: real, bootleg or both?

Post by lord ched »

Check out this listing of mine, and tell me if the description is plausible: namely, if a bootlegger would scoop up lesser shirts of a particular brand and slap their own big sexy version of the logo on the back.

plausible ...wouldn't put anything past them - but color blended jobs like that are more a pain to print - that's probably why it's thicker. If it's a screen print, they may have just used the same screen twice - put down one ink, waited for it to dry and put a second one on top. Johnny65 would know.

Maybe Adidas even did it for the same reason but it was probably manufactured like that.

What makes me suspicious is that the yellow/orange pattern is totally at odds with the baby blue shirt and black print: a subdued colour combo with a back logo louder than bombs? I also thought the yellow/orange colouring is pretty limited- I thought the licensed models had more colours. There's also a print defect.
