Bill Graham Nirvana Red Hot Chili Peppers Staff shirt
How about this shirt , It’s good look and has little bullet like legit but don’t have tag and screen on back.
Re: Bill Graham Nirvana Red Hot Chili Peppers Staff shirt
The other one I found has a Hanes tag - looks like that could be remnants of that in your collar.
But yes, also a backprint with staff.
Does yours have double stitch bottom hem? I can't tell from the photo.
It's definitely not the reissue.
If it checks out - it's a print error, just forgot to do the rear.

This shirt has all single stitch
Re: Bill Graham Nirvana Red Hot Chili Peppers Staff shirt
I'm leaning toward this being legit, but lacking the back print. Now, that will pose problems, people will be suspicious - as will the missing tag. But the print does not match the reissues - it's accurate based on comparing it to a known original. Even the STAFF text is perfect.
I saw it on eBay are you buying it?

Re: Bill Graham Nirvana Red Hot Chili Peppers Staff shirt
I have seen and held it 1 year ago, previously the tag was hanes exactly the same as this picture maybe this is the shirt and the tag has been cut off. I think this shirt is made of vintage material with new print screen printing and I am not sure this shirt is original
Re: Bill Graham Nirvana Red Hot Chili Peppers Staff shirt
I'll reach out to a gent I know who has a true one and get a photo of the front and I'll put together a side-by-side and post it here. A counterfeit print will have many subtle differences with a print like this.Staydemz wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2025 2:47 pm I have seen and held it 1 year ago, previously the tag was hanes exactly the same as this picture maybe this is the shirt and the tag has been cut off. I've been looking for this shirt for a while now. Most people don't sell it. I look at the screen and other details and it looks pretty good. But I don't want to buy it and think I'm the only one who thinks it's authentic. LOL, I won't buy it unless you agree with me.
Re: Bill Graham Nirvana Red Hot Chili Peppers Staff shirt
I'm waiting to hear back from the gent who I know has an original, and I'll do side by sides in an image tomorrow.
BUT even if it checks out - the fact that it's missing the backprint - and a tag will always have people questioning it. It might be better to hold out for one with zero red flags, ya know? Especially at that price.

So here's a little grid for comparison.
The OG version is provided by Bullethole vintage on IG.
The reissue is the Bill Graham licensed one, not staff. But added that in just for a fourth version - and one that someone printed years later (like a counterfeiter would do - and even a professional who was licensed to reproduce it - you can see MANY differences)
Interesting to see between the other 2 potential OGs, the differences, here's the link to the bottom left:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/387787965510
Which seems fine to me. You can see that your no back version matches that better than it matches the Bullethole example. The color of the shirt for one - and the print color.
But both of those things can be explained by a worn and washed tee (Bullethole's is clearly more used, whereas the one below is deadstock), different camera/lighting color results, and different inks used by screen printers.
I've studied the shit out of the fine details on all three and feel like they are all accurate. If counterfeiters can copy a print this accurately, we are all in trouble.
With that said, my gut says the no-back is ok. But again, if it were me, I wouldn't buy it just because it will always be suspect due to this issue and a missing tag.
Current you might want to buy it and keep it - but future you might need to sell it one day.

You are very caring and hard working with your support. I have learned so much from you. I am so grateful to you. But sadly, the seller did not want to sell to me due to my zero Ebay buyer reviews. I guess this shirt did not choose me. I will work hard to get the shirt that did.jimmyj wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 12:13 pm So here's a little grid for comparison.
