planning to buy this but quite unsure about its authenticity. any help would be appreciated

That back print is so intricate, that there's no way it could be pulled off convincingly. The only concern is 22" for a Hanes L. Maybe the owner stretched it. Just make sure the tag hasn't been tampered with - but the lower double stitch is ok.
