Legit Check Metallica '97 Master of Puppets Artimonde

Hi, I just want to know about this shirt, some people saying its reprint, some people says its legit. What I know this variant is Canada Variant. is it possible this is '97 or Y2k? what's bothering me the year 97 is too close to early 2000's is it possible its really from 97? Thanks!

It's legit, vintage, but yeah a reissue, so not as sought after.
There are quite a few listed for $50-ish across the marketplaces now:

It could be '97, but yeah, likely later - as Metallica tees are famous for not updating their copyright dates.
