Hi there,

I'm talking with a seller about a classic Smashing Pumpkins Zero t-shirt that he says is vintage. It's printed on a Pacific shirt. I'm having a lot of trouble determining whether SP ever used Pacific blanks, and from what I can see, Pacific has kept their tag design pretty static for a long time. Measurements below, but these are the only pics I have.

Length: 26.5 inches Sleeve length: about 8 inches Chest: about 18 inches Bottom width: 19 inches

I think this is a repro.

Here's what I dug up:

It's likely a more modern version of this tag:

I did find it on a Greenday Revolution Radio T-shirt - that came out in 2016.

Prob a tag often used for throwbacks.

Found examples of deadstock blanks:

The company may have roots in the 90s, but I think that tag is modern.

The style your tag being slim like that was very 2000s I feel.

Anywho, if you are looking for an SP Zero tee from the era, I would skip that one. And be careful, tons of reprints and fakes.

Thank you! I think you're probably right—tag shape definitely suggests 2000s and that Green Day shirt is obviously no more than 8 years old. I appreciate it!

Reminds me of an American Apparel tag.
