Hey guys. Hope all is well.
I have another shirt I just got information by another collector that it might be not authentic. Please see attached photos.
Bayclub XXL and measured 27 x 28.7

Re: LC check on a Wu Tang Raekwon
At first glance, it's not the common fake Bay Club tag, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a new one.
But I don't think Bay Club tees that are XXL go to 27".
Based on a small sample size, of 3 others I just looked up - none go beyond 25 inches. So that's a red flag.
I compared this tag vs one other BC XXL and I can see some immediate differences. That said, sometimes there are organic differences between two legit tags, so will look for more.
I haven't even looked at the print yet.
Where did you get it?
It's strange, we looked into a t-shirt a few days ago that also had a 27" chest, but it was a Brockum Worldwide China Made that was labeled an M.

The one in the photo doesn't have a 27" chest, it's 23" - so did you get the same shirt? Measure yours again maybe? It looks to be a match based on the creases in the tag.
I agree that many random people are chiming in on vintage tees without adequately assessing them.

I’m sure I was sent out the right shirt looking at the tag. I re measured the shirt and it’s 26.5 (see attached photo) metric (67.5cm)
23 inch would be 58cm so it’s definitely not 23 inch.
Re: LC check on a Wu Tang Raekwon Bay Club
This is a red flag; maybe the seller accidentally mismeasured or purposely measured to conceal the true measurement (although, they had to have known it would be realized.) But let's not assume the worst, and give them the benefit of the doubt.
It's a clear case of an item not as described, and you should be able to return it based on that. We're talking about a discrepancy of 7 inches on the total chest.
I'm going to dig into the tag shortly.

Thank you Jimmy, I compared the tags and it’s definitely the shirt in the listing I was sent (see attached)jimmyj wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 12:48 pm This is a red flag; maybe the seller accidentally mismeasured or purposely measured to conceal the true measurement (although, they had to have known it would be realized.) I went ahead and re measured the length as well. And it’s 75cm metric = 29.52 inch
Re: LC check on a Wu Tang Raekwon Bay Club
So, the length is correct, but the width is off by a lot?

Phew, that's great. For the record, I checked in with a colleague who is more savvy in the rap tee genre than I am, and he also had his doubts, so better safe than sorry.
