Howdy! Long-time lurker, first-time poster.

I picked up this amazing 1995 Selena t-shirt back in Japan in 2023. I'm hoping to get some insight into its history. It has a Q Productions 1995 copyright on the graphic, a Sof Tee by Tee Jays tag, and is single-stitch, so I’m pretty confident it’s an original/authentic.

What I’m trying to figure out is whether this design was ever in circulation before she passed or if it was printed afterward as a memorial shirt. I’ve seen the same graphic before, but on a version with a memorial tribute printed on the back—mine doesn’t have that.

My theory is that some of these were printed before her tragic murder in March 1995, but were later repurposed for her memorial by adding a back graphic. Does anyone know for sure?
