So far I’ve figured the blank is real mid 90s Jerzees, but can’t figure out if the print is a bootleg or if its original.

Yeah, that's the tough part, one color print. Agree, Jerzees sweatshirt checks out.

The Direct Merchandising script looks thicker than other places, but could be a screen printer being more generous with ink.

The Wu logo - isn't right for one, there's no beak.

Secondly, the ones I saw, the WU TANG lettering lines up with the exterior of the emblem. The lettering on yours seems all around thicker.

But I haven't done a deep enough dive into this to see if there are any actual legit variances.

Could it possibly have been a testprint? I’ve seen this variant once on an early 00s tee, other than that I’ve pretty much only seen the version you posted.

I don't think so, but it's worth trying to find others like yours for sure.
